Point Broadcasting is looking for a driven and goal-oriented account executive to sell radio and/or digital advertising in Oxnard and Ventura.


– Participate in training sessions to know and learn the company’s broadcast and digital products.
– Identify and prospect new business opportunities.
– Cultivate long-lasting relationships with new and existing clients.
– Develop professional and persuasive radio and digital proposals.
– Negotiate rates and ensure prompt payment.
– Build and maintain a full pipeline of clients.
– Learn and diligently use Point Broadcasting’s CRM software.
– Track the competition to prospect new account leads.
– Meet deadlines and provide high-quality customer service.
– Follow procedures for reports, forecasts, and administrative needs.
– Work collaboratively with all departments in a positive manner.


– High school graduate; college degree preferred.
– A valid driver’s license, your own vehicle, and auto insurance.
– Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
– Spanish as a second language preferred but not required.
– Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiating skills.
– 2-3 years experience selling radio and/or digital media is preferred.

– Potential to make over $100k per year with no cap: $40k – $65k starting guarantee (depending on experience) + commission (eligible after specific billing requirements are met).
