REGIONAL SALES MANAGER

Point Broadcasting is looking for a Regional Sales Manager to oversee all broadcast and digital business, manage a staff of account executives, and strategically grow revenue for the Oxnard/Ventura, Santa Barbara, and Santa Maria regions.

Responsibilities

– Develop deep understanding of company products and revenue streams.
– Oversee and work closely with local Account Executives to generate new business and strengthen existing client relationships.
– Drive sales results through motivational leadership, accountability, and setting strategic goals and plans.
– Set revenue, prospecting, and new business targets.
– Identify and monetize untapped revenue streams.
– Prepare budgets and revenue forecasts.
– Set and manage pricing strategies to achieve revenue goals.
– Recruit and hire new Account Executives.
– Develop new Account Executives by coaching and aiding on sales calls.
– Build schedules and work directly with specific regional accounts.
– Manage broadcast inventory to achieve revenue goals.
– Review and adjust assigned call lists as needed.
– Monitor Local, Regional, and National sales activities of competitors.
– Assist with other functions such as marketing and promotions when needed.
– Build the value of all company brands.

Requirements

– Excellent management, communication, and leadership skills.
– Proven track record for growing and sustaining sales revenue at a reputable media company.
– A goal-oriented and self-starter mentality.
– Can multi-task and stay highly organized.
– Ability to create long-term staff and customer relationships.
– Keeps composure and makes smart decisions under pressure.
– Positive and productive attitude.
– Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
– Spanish as a second language preferred but not required.
– A valid driver’s license, your own vehicle, and auto insurance.
– College degree preferred.
– Minimum 3 years of sales management experience in radio, TV, or print.
– List of references.

Salary

– $125k per year salary + tiered bonuses (eligible after meeting performance-based sales targets).
